Pascal Zeimet started his food service journey at 16, when he started cooking and baking professionally. At 21, he opened his first Bakery in Eastern France, which quickly expanded to into several surrounding villages. In need of a new challenge, he joined the team of La Madeleine Bakery and Café in Dallas, Texas, leaving his business in the care of his family. After managing a team of 40 bakers, Pascal was picked to help launch the Washington, DC market, and he successfully opened 8 new locations in 3 different states. He was placed in charge of 21 locations, ensuring that production, catering and distribution were working efficiently. He then opened his first Rendez-Vous in Aventura, Florida, in November 2003. 2 years later, he was ready to open his 2nd location in Oakland Park, FL. Two weeks after the opening, hurricane Wilma closed the doors of the bakery for 2 whole weeks. However, the damages were fixed, and the bakery has been opened 361 days a year ever since.
We have seen many changes in menus, décor, and staff, but the quality of our products and our passion for what we do is the same as the first day we opened the door. We work hard to bring you great food, in a wonderful atmosphere, with a friendly and efficient service, and we hope to be able to provide it for many years to come.
