A secular private institution established in February 1995 in the State of Florida as a nonprofit corporation that operates entirely on private funds. Its project is to meet the educational needs of French children, Francophone and Francophile community of Florida.

It was the first in the state of Florida to provide, in addition to nursery education, primary education in accordance with the official instructions of the French Ministry of National Education.

The French American School of Miami is proud to announce the establishment of a second campus located at 650 NE 88 Terrace.

This new campus will open for the upcoming school year in August 2014 and will start off by offering classes in PreK1 3 year-old, PreK2 4 year-old, Kindergarten and 1st grade.

The operation and academic program will be identical to that of the Coral Gables campus.
