The École – Franco-American School

Located in the bustling Flatiron district of Manhattan, our intimate and independent French-American school cultivates a community of internationally minded students. This community of 320+ students of 70+ different nationalities is close to two languages in common: French and English. From the very small section of kindergarten through 4th grade, we expertly merge the best of the French and American educational systems, providing our students with a challenging dual academic curriculum, global skills and knowledge, and a positive and multicultural perspective.
The School offers an after-school program with a myriad of educational, sporting and cultural activities. The short vacation program and summer camp allow children to have fun and explore the world in several languages.
The School is approved by the Ministry of National Education and the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad).
