The Alliance Française de San Francisco is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and enhance the knowledge and appreciation of French and Francophone culture, to increase the knowledge of the French language, and to encourage interaction among French, Francophone and American people through programs in education and the arts.

The Alliance Française of San Francisco provides

• Language courses for adults, children, and businesses who want or need to learn French

• Language certifications including the TEF/TEFAQ, DELF/DALF and DELF Prim, and the DAEFLE

• Cultural activities for adults and children that present a comprehensive look at francophone culture in the 21st century

• A library and other online resources on line for both native speakers and students of French

Whether you are a native or fluent French speaker, a student of the language, or an interested non-French speaker, you are welcome to participate in the wide range of activities  offered throughout the year.
